What is Software?

Computer software is a collection of computer programs   which provide the instructions telling a computer what to do.

Types of Software:

Two Types of Software:

1. Application Software: 

Application software developed for multiple customers

Ex: ICICI Bank application

2. Product Software:

Product Software developed for specific customers

Ex: OS, Ms-Excels……..

Software Testing:

            1. Software Testing is the process of investigating about Quality of Software.

            2. Software Testing is the process of improving the quality of Software.

Quality of Software:

            We can say software is quality software if it satisfies below:

            1. Software should be a bug free.

            2. Software should develop within the budget.

            3. Software should be developed within the time frame.

            4. Software should be used for longer time.
